Run & Walk with Pride
Beneficiaries
This year’s beneficiary are Peer Seattle and Seattle Pride.
As a program of Peer Washington, Peer Seattle cultivates powerful, healthy lives by providing peer emotional support and development services to the LGBTQ community impacted by addiction, mental health and/or HIV. Peer Seattle will receive approximately 75% of the event’s net proceeds.
Seattle Pride produces and promotes pride events to connect, strengthen, and advocate for Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community. The organization’s vision is to achieve equal human rights throughout our region and the world. Seattle Pride will receive approximately 25% of the event’s net proceeds. Additionally, Seattle Pride is generously supporting the event by allowing Run & Walk with Pride to use its extensive network to promote this event.
“We are grateful to have been a recipient of Seattle Frontrunners’ 30th Annual Run/Walk with Pride. Proceeds from this event has helped us launch several different programs, provide peer emotional support, and personal development services to the LGBTQ community.”
